I concur with the other answers to your question, sites are surveyed along
a flat plane, and areas calculated likewise.
With regards to 'getting more for your money' on a sloping site, it is far
more expensive to develop a sloping site as opposed to a flat one.
Unless you're building a dry ski slope. :)
