I am working on an application using integrated mapping OLE and Visual Basic 6 (sp3). Because you can not re-parent toolbars, I have included menu items on my VB form that issue MapInfo.RunMenuCommand commands. I have also added a tool button to the Main toolbar. This tool always does what I want it to do (i.e.. I click on a key map and the call back re-centers a second map window hides the key map and opens a layout which is re-parented to a second VB form.) Where my trouble begin is after the layout is closed, and the second form containing the layout is closed. I show the first window again so that the user may make another selection on the key map. Now the other buttons, Zoom In, Zoom Out and Pan, no longer work. Yet the added button remains active and continues to work. This also happens when I leave the form to open a printer setup dialog. When I return to the main form my calls to the standard menu items no longer work. Any Ideas? Patrick J.
