Hello fellow Mappers
I am currently working on a project involving Highway Markers. What I
would like to know is whether there is a utility out there that can place a
predetermined about of points along a selected line and space them evenly.
I have polyline that represent highways and I would like to place a set number
of points evenly along the line. If a utility dose not exist please give
me some information on how to do this in mapbasic or mapinfo. I would like
to enter a number value to represent amount of points, then the code
will place the points alone a selected line spaced evenly. The first
point is on the beginning of the line and the last point is on the end of the
line with the balance spaced evenly between.
This will be a life saver......
