My original post may be disregarded as I have stumbled upon the answer to my question (which appears below). To update a column returning the line style: ObjectInfo(Obj,2) For anyone else that this might help, you will of course, need to create a column for this run, the size or width needs to be wide enough to accomodate whatever the return is. My finding is the widest value to be returned shouldn't be much over 18 characters. (ex "Pen(x,xx,xxxxxxxx)" = 18 minus the quotes) Interpreted as "Pen(width, style, color)" I think later versions of MI have more line styles 100+, if so, make that column 19 wide. still learnin', hopin' I don't get flamed for any incorrectness :) dave ----- Original Message ----- From: David Reid <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Thursday, February 03, 2000 8:55 AM Subject: MI 4.0 Update Column, Return value of Line Style > Mornin' Folks, > > I'm about to change the attributes (linestyles) of all my streets to > a recognized standard.
