Can anyone explain how MIF represents a polygon with holes? Can holes have holes? I remembered from somewhere in the distant past that the first polygon in a region is always an outer boundary written in one direction (let's say counter-clockwise) and holes are represented by succeeding polygons in the region stored in the opposite direction (let's say counter-clockwise). But when I actually looked at some MIF files today and it looks like the ordering of the first polygon is usually but not always in one direction. I looked at Bill's MID/MID doc but it didn't mention holes. Thanks. ...steve ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MAPINFO-L" in the message body, or contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
