Hi, can someone tell me why this code compiles ok in MapBasic 4.1? It
shouldn't, should it? Note the extra Sub parameter 'SayYes'.

Declare sub A ( Byval Data1, Byval Data2 as string, Byval SayYes as logical )
dim X1 as string
Call A ( "hello", X1, 0)
print X1
Sub A ( Byval Data1, Byval Data2 as string )
if SayYes then
Data2 = left$( Data1,2)
else
Data2="No"
end if
End sub
