no - i don't think it is possible but to be honest you just wouldn't want to
do it anyway. Consider all the plug-ins that we have included with our
browsers - they are far more than simple text viewers these days. What you
could do is use visual basic or some other controlling language to have
MapInfo in one window and your html in another. But i imagine you wouldn't
want to do that because it means writing loads of vb buttons with MI
runcommands beneath. For the easiest way out give up the idea of not having
a browser running alongside and use the mapbasic linkplus program to link
html pages, or text or image files, to whatever objects you have in your
tables. headache over.
