Hiya guys .... I need some help please!

I have a MI table which displays design lines. These are straight lines
which connect the origin point to the destination point. What I would like
to do is to be able to map the number of people living at each of the origin
points by the actual number rather than range. So for example, if there is
1 person living at origin A and 10 people living at origin B, then the
design line for origin A should be 1/10th the width of the design line for
origin B.

Looking at the various options available under Thematic Mapping, if one
uses:
        1. - ranges, MI does not map by actual value but forces lines
into specific bands
        2. - individual, MI does not map by size
        3. - graduated, it only works for symbols and not lines

Any ideas other than manually editing the width of the lines which gets a
bit tedious.

Thanks
