Hi,
I used Easyloader to upload a million object Oracle spatial database and
create the Spatial index's. This database will be used by MapInfo Pro users
for maintenance and eventually connected to the web by Mapextreme.
I am now trying to tune these index's as performance is poor (actually
terrible) using MapInfo Pro. We have not started with Mapextreme yet.
In addition to rebuilding the index, varying the SDO_LEVEL and SDO_NUMTILES
values, what impact will it have on mapinfo and mapextreme if I rebuild the
spatial index table in a different tablespace?
Will performance improve if I use three tablespaces, one for the uploaded
data, one for the spatial index's and one for Oracle index's?
I'll appreciate any and all suggestions.
