I believe that this topic has been discussed in the past and I need to find
out if anyone has a solution. We have an HP 750C and are presently running
MapInfo 5.5. We are having a very difficult time printing maps. Our maps
are fairly detailed - they include a great deal of point, vector and label
data. The plotter always seems to choke on the size of the map. We have
tried the obvious fixes, EMF vs RAW Data, Plotter memory vs Computer swap
memory, all without luck. One of our sub-contractors, a survey company,
also running 5.5, can print the maps on their plotter without any
problem. We thought it was our plotter. We carried the plotter next door
to their office, connected to it and again they plotted without a
problem. The computers are identical make, model, HD, RAM, and
etc. - The main difference between their set -up and ours is that we are
networked (running Windows95 not WindowsNT) Any Ideas?
Any help will be appreciated.
