Have you heard of RouteX Net Server? This is an independent OCX control
that allows you to do point to point routing (shortest/fastest/opitimised),
prints directions, and enables you to edit roads to allow for one-way
roads, turn restrictions and impassable roads. It is the internet version
of RouteX, which you may have heard of, and part of Dataview Solution's
RouteView range.
We also have a dataset that has been pre-processed for use in the RouteView
range for the whole of the USA and I can give you more information on this
if you wish.
The MapCentric website (www.mapcentric.co.uk) contains more information and
a 30-day trial version of RouteX that you can download.

I'm looking for a shortest path routing solution (ALL I NEED IS THE
DISTANCE BETWEEN THE 2 POINTS).
If you have/know of a solution, this is what I need:
1. It must work with MapXSite/MapXtreme
2. Do you need to pre-process streets?
3. What is the cost (We're embedding it in an application we plan to
sell).
