Thanks for that Arclink help. That was easy enough. I now have some questions on the various files within these data sets. I would like to get rid of the table files I do not need. Could someone tell me what the following different files are showing in the map browser that end in: .tic , .line , .poly , .point . Secondly what is the difference in the files that give the state abbreviation and a 3 digit number and the one that looks to be giving the counties latitude degrees. Also I was wondering if it is possible to access the different data files like taxclass, or ssarea while working in the map browser for a quick reference of each soil type.
