In california there are the AP maps that identify the traces of active faults 
throughout the state.  There are just begining to be seismic hazard maps that 
identify liquefaction and seismic shaking hazard areas (only for the LA area 
and San Francisco as of now - more are coming).  Both are at 7-1/2 minute 
quad scale.  They are now all in digital format, but I do not know if all of 
the digital files are currently available to the public - see the CDMG web 
site

I do not know about the other states.  It would be useful information to be 
posted.
