Don't know if this will help with the work load, but NOAA charts can
be gotten in Raster form from MapTech http://www.maptech.com . more
information can be found about the raster charts at
http://chartmaker.ncd.noaa.gov/ocs/rnc/raster1.htm , I don't know if this
will help you or not. they are updated everyweek, after the Local Notice to
MAriners comes out. I don't know how long after that you can get them
though. I used to work at NOAA and only know a limited amout about them.
