Brendan,

One easy way to do this is to use the MapBasic window. Assuming all the files have the
same columns to be added, you can do it once using the menu system and then just
change the file name and re-run the line in the MapBasic window.

If you know your filenames well enough, it is easy to generate a script in a text
editor so you can do them all at once (which may for instance include opening each
file, changing the structure and then closing the file - watch for filenames with
unsual characters or those that start with numbers).

Good luck

Subject: MI Table Structure

Dear Listers,

I have many tables resulting from the translation with Universal Translator
of dxf files. To each of the tables I wish to add a series of fields,
which I am doing using Table > Maintenance >Table Structure.
Is there a way I can either
copy the structure of one table to another
OR
define the structure of many tables simultaneously

Thanks in anticipation
