Hi All-
We are about to start revising our rather outdated and convoluted MapInfo
data directory structure so that new users can find the tables they need.
We are interested in assigning and keeping the metadata for each table and
be able to query on it if possible.
(ie select All point tables for Ontario from 1995 and before). As it stands
right now, most of that information is carried in my or my collegues head as
to where it's stored, it's origin, and when it was created/modified.
Does anyone have any experience they can share with Metadata managers and
perhaps the way they set up their directory structure to help control
duplicate and outdated (archival I guess you'd call it) tables?
Many Thanks, will sum
Jason
