Hi Listers, Can anyone provide me with some help on registering a "non-earth" image in Map Info? I open a bitmap or .jpg, and then I choose to display it - not register. Next I create a new table, and open new mapper then choose create. Next I add a field and choose my projection of "non-earth" and inches. I leave the coordinates at the default, click ok and choose create and save the new layer. I go back to the original layer. Go into layer control and add my newly created layer, and make it editable. Then using a drawing tool (polygon) I start to trace the image. But nothing shows up. The polygon looks like it is drawing but I can't see anything. My region style and line style have not been changed. What am I doing wrong????? Maybe there is a much easier way to accomplish what I am trying to do. The application that I am using in conjunction with Map Info does not support raster images, so I use the raster image as background and I am using Map Info to trace it using polygons. Seems very simple to me, and I know that I'm doing something wrong or missing a step.
