The formulae (Redfearn's formulas for Gauss-Kruger Transverse Mercator) are
in an Excel macro at the Australian Land Information Group's site at
auslig.com.  You will have to change the constants to be pertinent for the
UK, but the formulae are there and done.  Rather nice job, too.
