One of their speciality is Informix/SpatialWare servers.
Informix/SpatialWare is a powerful system designed to work with MapInfo.
You can use Informix/SpatialWare to easiliy manipulate and conduct true GIS
analysis while in MapInfo.

Subject: MI SQL Server vs Oracle

Dear All

I know there has been some traffic recently regarding Oracle 8 and
MapInfo, but I was wondering whether anyone had experience of SQL
server??? The reason is that we are currently examining new databases,
and the main thrust seems to be for SQL server....but the database ( a
comprehensive list of all properties in our area with an x,y, coordinate
etc...) will be used mostly with MapInfo.... so I need to some info on
the best system.

Any advice or recommendations will be gratefully received,

Thanks in Advance

Jon Bloor
