Dear all,
I may be missing something very simple here, but is there a way to
'reverse-link' a MapInfo table into an ODBC database?
What I mean by that is - instead of linking a table from an ODBC
source into MapInfo, I want to read a native (not linked) MapInfo table into
an ODBC database (the db is Access97)
The table is a table of retail outlets, and I want to automate the process
of populating a table of retailer information, from within my MapInfo
application, into the Access database
All I can think of is to loop through the MI table creating temporary
variables, and use these to send an insert command to the ODBC database for each
record - very time consuming for 50,000 records. Any pointers more than
welcome.
Cheers
