I am new to this list but have already enjoyed most of the discussions I have
read. I am looking for a way to geocode certain records by assigning them
lat. & long. manually.
We have a fair number of addresses that geocode to improper locations, or that
we have to select an improper choice as an S2 just to get it close. Our needs
require the location to be as exact as possible. This means that we have to
go into MapInfo and manually move these symbols to the correct locations. We
have set up locators that we can snap to for the common ones, but I am hoping
there is a way during the geocoding process to take care of this to avoid the
time used to move them by hand.
Any and all suggestions are welcome.
