Hi all Thank you to Bill Thoen, Trey Pattillo, Jacques Paris, Peter Doyle, and others missed. All replies were very helpful to my text length in layouts problem. Some of the solutions are listed below. There is a 250 character limit in a text box so here are fixes: * Use mapbasic code to parse long text into lines less than 250 characters and then arrange them in paragraph form, line by line, on the layout window. * Writing your text as a spread sheet and making a frame of the browser of that spreadsheet. * Taking a picture of your text and displaying it as an image in a frame.
