I have printed a layout to a PRN file for printing on a HP450C at a printing bureau. The print to file was made with the HP printer settings on "Process in Printer" and the PRN file produced was 791Kb. The map was printed by the print bureau without any apparent problems except that a few text items on the print were either omitted or, in one instance, clipped (only partially printed). Since then I have repeated the Print to File procedure a further 3 times and the PRN files are all of identical sizes. Should I make the HP printer settings "Process in Computer"? I am hoping not to have to do that, in order to avoid large PRN files and much slower printing times. I would be grateful for any suggestions or solutions.
