Rob,
I work for a forestry company based in the Pacific Northwest(USA), but also
with holdings in NZ. We have been using MI for about five years. MI is the
main app used, although other software is used for special projects. We
have developed a GUI in VB that allows our field staff to access GIS
datasets, make maps and do harvest planning. MI has worked really well for
this application in the US, we are now in the process of porting this to an
NZ version. Contact me directly if you want more info'.

Subject: MI MapInfo and Forestry Companies
Hi all
We have a client (who is a Forestry company) who use MapInfo.
They were therefore wondering if there is any other forestry companies who
use MapInfo (and may also have Forestry related apps built with or for
MapInfo)
They would really appreciate any feedback (esp from Australian/NZ companies)
Regards
Rob Rowell
