Hi Nelson
When you have your complex workspace open you will need to check that the layers that aren't lined up properly have the same projection. That can be done under the TABLE pull down, MAINTENANCE, TABLE STRUCTURE and then projection. If you find you have sever different projections you would then change then do a SAVE COPY AS of the table you want to change the projection on. (remembering to set the projection to the correct one)
I hope that solves your problem.

Subject: MI projection glitch?
Hi folks
I have run into a strange problem where sometimes if the moon is just right
and there is a pending deadline, layers don't display correctly. If I open
a simple map where the land, rivers and coastline are the only layers being
used, the coastline would normally be coincidental with the edge of the
land (as one would hope). However, in a complex workspace that has taken
FOREVER to build those exact same layers are screwed up and the coast line
is offset from the edge of the land. Why? Plz help.
