I'm trying to generate a 3D image of a dam sighting. I have encountered the
following problems and would appreciate some help:
When I trim a grid I don't seem to be able to generate a 3D view from the
MapInfo interface. I can however go through Windows Explorer by double
clicking on the GridView file name.
When I overlay a dam level of at say 40m on my 3D image it sets its elevation
at 352m so it renders my 3D image useless. I have checked long-sections and
they apprear to be OK.
I need to calculate the volume of my proposed dam. Is there a query I can
perform that will calculate the volume between my ground level grid and the
proposed dam grid?
Suggestions?
