Dear MI gurus,
One of my client gets data in a tabular format like
Vehicle Id,Date,Lat and Long and Altitude. Here lat
and long is in Degrees, min ,sec like 23, 1 ,0.072 respectively.
I have converted into lat and long accordingly and tried to
create point ( create point option ) based on the lat and long
in Lat/Long Projection?? map of India. But the point is created
completely out of Indian boundary. I also tried to multiply lat
with - (negative) with no results.
But, when a physical place a point on the map (assuming the
point location) and entered one value of lat and long by double
clicking on the point, it place exactly on the correct location
(it repositions itself!!). Why this is not happening with Create
points option...Iam a missing something.
