The next meeting of the MapInfo User Group (UK) will be held on the 4th September at Hewlett Packards main offices in Bracknell.

This meeting will include the 2000 AGM and will focus on real life use of new MapInfo functionality. As well as the AGM there will be presentations from HP and MapInfo staff along with a few user presentations.

The agenda is currently being finalised but there is still room for users to offer possible presentations of what they are doing with MI,

Recent presenters have included Railtrack and how they are using MI to manage their assets, Torbay Council explaining how MapX is being used to improve the management of waste collection and Portsmouth Council talking about linking MI to EXOR road maintenance software.

Please contact me direct if you would like to offer a presentation or would like to join or renew your membership
