After a plethora of responses, I now feel like the only person on the list who didn't know this one. For those of you who also don't know, the answer is: - draw a line - double-click on it - enter the correct length in the dialog box Another method, and far more accurate, is to use the Cogo tool (a free .mbx), thus allowing you to specify starting location, direction, and length. Thanks once again to one and all. Tom Original question: People, I'm sure there's an easy answer to this one. How can I draw a line a specified length/distance, say 1.75km?
