Mike,
MapMarker is probably doing fine. One of the anomalies of the postal system
is that there is no firm geographic reference to streets except a partial
file of zip+4's correlated to segments of the TIGER files. The zip codes
are constructed at the whim of the individual Postmaster. If these
addresses are rural, the +4 could be referring to a roadside cluster of
mailboxes or some other delivery device.
