I have a paper geology map 1:5,000,000 for the former USSR.
As is typical of their older manually created products, there is no
indication as to what projection was used to create the map. There are
features that I would like to digitize from the map and add to a compilation
of data that has been created in MapInfo.
Is there a site that has "common" map projecitons of the various areas of
the world?
