Dear Robin,
I'm using Visual Modflow. You can import files via DXF into
Visual Modflow.
The original modflow is a DOS based programme which does
not support graphics. However you can
use MI as a tool to prepare the input files.

I am trying to use MapInfo files for a groundwater modeling program
called MODFLOW. I am having trouble locating any documentation on how
to incorporate MapInfo files into MODFLOW. Any suggestions would be
helpful.
