I have had bad experiences with all previous versions of MapInfo when the ODBC install from MapInfo clobbers my existing "ODBC" (actually, Microsoft Data Access Components - MDAC - v2.5 - the one for Windows 2000). What's the correct sequence? Install MapInfo with its ODBC stuff, then re-install MDAC? I.L.
