Well, I just tried home-to-work and found a couple of issues:
1) My house has moved about 2 blocks down the street, which is fine because
the houses are nicer down there, but might just confuse my guests.
2) The route to my office was the longest of 3 ways to go - by about 2 miles
and maybe 10 minutes. Furthermore, a freeway route that is shown on the map
(and the shortest one in my experience) was completely ignored.
3) My office is placed right (within 200 feet), but the directions show me
going a block past the light where I would turn, hanging a U-turn (an
illegal one at that) and driving back a block in order to make a simple left
turn.
4) Zoom in / out is pretty easy to confuse - I zoomed in on my house and
then backed up using the "Back" button on the browser. I then tried to zoom
in on my office and was put back at my house.
5) The quality of the maps is nothing to write home about - this looks like
it might be TIGER97 or something like that.
I'd say that the issue is probably in the underlying data - it doesn't look
like it's the best available. The maps also need a bit of work - street
labeling looks like something right out of MI (not good), and the actual
image is not great - lots of jaggy lines. However, the highway shields look
pretty cool.
Happy Mapping.
