Dear List. I have a table witch contains a text-coloumn(citynames). Some cities occours several times in the coloumn at approximately the same location I'm trying to query this table to get unique citynames in the column (avoid duplicate names)with: select columns: * >From tables: tablename Group by columns: cityname I get a result witch looks alright in a browser, but i noticed that no points where selected from the original mapper(table). I saved the query as a table and opened it. It will not open the file in a mapper but only in a browser!!!. For the l... of G.. why!! Hope some of you gurus can help me out.
