HI, I installed MapInfo v. 6.0 and downloaded a DEM-file (w020n40.dem, 57,600,000 bytes) from the GTOPO30 - Global Topographic Data - site. I clipped the Benin region, let say 140 * 700 km2, converted it to ASCII XYZ values using Microdem, however: This file will still not convert to a Mapinfo grid file with the DEM2Grid tool. It says: ERROR: Unable to convert DEM file to a grid file. Anyone ?
