I have a question regarding mapinfo's mapmarker OCX. I work with a software company that has developed an app. that embeds the mapmarker OCX to enable geocoding on DB's. My question pertains to geocoding to a Zip code centroid level. When geocoding to the Zip code centroid are there specific required fields that the OCX requires other than just the zip code? In our app presently you cannot geocode to a zip code centroid unless you have a street, city, state zip. I believe that iS that a function of our app. I have run some tests of geocoding to the zip code centroid through mapmarker itself and all I have needed is a DB containing zip codes. I wasn't sure if the OCX ran the same way or if it was a function of how we wrote the code to geocode to zip centroids.
