I asked Stuart Nixon of ER Mapper, and he helped confirm that MapInfo Professional by itself does not read the geocoding information from ECW files. The free Map Imagery plugin for MapInfo Professional adds the ability to automatically create .TAB files from the header geocoding information found in .ECW as well as .ERS, .HDR, GeoTIFF, .TFW et al files. So the client will want to continue to use Map Imagery to resolve the problem with getting geocoded info into MapInfo Professional . ---------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this list, send e-mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and put "unsubscribe MAPINFO-L" in the message body, or contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
