I'd like to know if it is possible to convert a GRID file to a USGS DEM (ie export out). I don't believe this is possible in MapInfo or Vertical Mapper, and I'm still waiting to hear if FME can do this. Has anyone come across a way to do this? --------------------------------------------
I agree. It would be very useful to be able to
create dem files from mig files and use programs like terrabase to view them as
flyovers, perspective, line of site, etc. What is the major obstacle to
doing this from a programming standpoint?
