Acknowledgement of excellence in your work from your peers and colleagues is a very rewarding experience. The MSIA (Mapping Sciences Institute of Australia)Excellence in Mapping Sciences Awards, together with the MSIA/HATCH Associates TECHNOLOGY RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT AWARD provide opportunities for having your efforts and those of your colleagues recognised and indeed put on display for others to learn from. Whilst the Awards team of Peter Shaw and Harvey Tipping are pleased with the response thus far additional entries for all categories will be welcomed. This is a chance for others to see and recognise the contribution we continue to put into the community and in doing so raise the awareness of our Industry. Entries close on the 29 September 2000 so take the time to consider what you can provide and "have a go". Send the message to your colleagues also. Details and entry forms can be found at http://www.mappingsciences.org.au/awards.htm or by using the attached files. We look forward to the next wave of excellent contributions.
