Dennis: Well, occasionally there are some extremely large and/or frequently updated datasets where it would be useful to be able to map Shape directly..maybe in the MB to open you could specify the projection (e.g. always NAD '83) so it wouldn't have to be Interactive.. I realize you can batch imut.exe but it's not suitable for files that take 1.5 hours to convert.. I don't know.. just a thought. MI Pro 6.5?
