MI Selection of features in MapInfo coverage

Hi,

I have a coverage with line symbols, polyline symbols and point symbols.

I would like to select all points or all lines. Until this time, I was
creating a new field and I was updating it with the "obj" command. After
that, I was able to do my selection.

Now, I would like to select points or lines without creating this field.

Do you have an idea.
