I will be getting data from a colleague who uses AutoCad and was wondering which was the best way to import AutoCad data into MapInfo 6.0? Should I have them send me a DWG file or have them export to a DXF file from AutoCad and then import that DXF file in MapInfo? Which method of conversion produces less chance of error or translation problems?
