Hello there,
I'm testing MapInfo DBMS connection with Oracle8i
connection and ran into following problem after loading MI tables into Oracle 8i
database (8.1.6) with EasyLoader (shipped with MI 6.0).
When trying to open up DBMS table the following
Prompt appears:
"The Projection in Mapcatalog and the
USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA are different"
and the table won't run.
I'm newbie in Oracle stuff, but this is what I got
so far. I already have figured out the mapcatolog part, but having trouble to
locate the USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA. All I can come up that is even close I'm
looking for is SDO_GEOM_METADATA sections in MDSYS schema. This doesn't seem to
have any reference to coordinate system though.
I would appreciate any additional information on
theese SDO_GEOM_METADATA and USER_SDO_GEOM_METADATA tables. Or even
better, to find a solution to get my DBMS table to run.
