You can get the min and max coordinates in a table using the TableInfo
Function, Try this in the MapBasic Window
Set Coordsys table MyTabName
Print "MinX = " & Str$(TableInfo("MyTabName", 20))
Print "MinY = " & Str$(TableInfo("MyTabName", 21))
Print "MaxX = " & Str$(TableInfo("MyTabName", 22))
Print "MaxY = " & Str$(TableInfo("MyTabName", 23))

I am wondering if anyone knows the location and name of a free utility that
would calculate and display the coordinates, based upon the projection
used,
of a single minium bounding rectangle, for the total extent of a collection
of polygons, that make up a single table.
I am running MI Prof ver. 5.5.
I once obtained a free utility from a freeware site that did this, but
unfortunately, I seemed to have "lost" it, and cannot remember where I
obtained it and what it was named.
