Hi All! I have just converted three equal usgs dem files (by way of sdts2dem) and then by way of dem2grid. All have gone smoothly, and no errors have occurred. Now, the funny thing is that of these three, only two will display in MapInfo? I have perused all human readable files involved, but found nothing to account for this behaviour. I have also installed the free DLG viewer and it displays all threee dem files without problem. Does anyone have a clue where to search for the solution to this riddle? The problematic file is found among the 1:24000 dlg:s under the name of Uxbridge. Is there a way to read and resave the SDTS or DEM to some other format that MI can handle? That might squeeze out the bug.
