Aargh, ok  my sarcasm in the private e-mail was just to 
spur on some thinking, I apologize for the rudeness.

No harm intended and all good feelings toward everyone,
especially there in Seattle.

And I honestly don't care if they post, but last thing I 
wanted was to start a thread on this topic in the list.

The way they e-mailed their post, it appeared that perhaps
I was on some [EMAIL PROTECTED] list and was initially requesting 
to be removed... (full transcript below)

On that vein, a piece of etiquette, when you don't specify 
the list address in the To: or Cc: lines it often pops up in 
people's regular inbox rather than their "MapInfo-L" folder,
for instance.
