I keep seeing people posting mail to the old address for Mapinfo-L, so I
have to tell you that you need to update your address book. NOW! The
only reason your mail gets through is that I have set a forwarding
address for all mail that's sent to the old site. Colorado SuperNet
(csn.net) has told me that they really, really are shutting down
operations but nobody knows exactly when. The busines office told me all
dialups were disconnected yseterday, but I'm using one now, so that
branch doesn't know what's going on. The tech support crew at the old
Supernet site says they will maintain station until Dec 31. The letter
that Qwest (the new owners) sent out two months ago said it will all be
over Oct 1. Well Qwest bought US West, who had just bought SuperNet, and
you know what happens when worlds collide. It all looks like an Abbott
and Costello skit (Who's on first?)

So it's anyone's guess, but when it finally happens that forwarding will
stop, and any mail you send to that old address will bounce. I advise
you to get with the program and use the new address right now.

Please do not send MapInfo-L mail to the csn.net address anymore. Send
it to [EMAIL PROTECTED] from now on.
