minimise the Layout window for a sec. In main Mapinfo window,
Options menu, then preferences, then system settings. About half way down,
Paper and Layout units, set to inches.
Then
Map menu, Options, and set the distance units to inches.
Voila. (is that spelt correctly, I don't know, long day :o)

When I double click on a frame in a layout window, Mapinfo tells me the
position in centimetres. How can I get it display the details in inches?
