Sorry for this off topic post, but I'm trying to work with MapXtreme Java and Oracle (doing my part to toe the party line) and I was wondering if it was possible to restrict user's access to portions of a table on a record by record basis. For instance, I have a table of counties in Oracle. I'd like to set it up so some users can only view those in say New York, while others can only see California, while some can see all records. Is this possible with Oracle?
